ObamaCare roll out disaster. I tried to
look at policies in Colorado, but was continuously getting scammed to fraud
sites. My cost would be about 22,400 dollars per year with no benefits. As the supreme court ruled; it is just a tax.
The premium for my wife and I would be 1,200 dollars per month (on
average) and my deductible between 10,000 and 22,000 per year before plan
benefits kicked in. As the supreme court ruled; it is just a tax.
I was informed by one of my friends that, I was being redirected to scam sites, so the real policies might be better. I received a follow up phone call from a "navigator". I asked if the policy was a fraud, he said no. The company he recommended could provide my wife and I; with care for as little as 20,000 per year, given the fact that I make a good living and am not an ethnically/income disadvantaged person.

I spoke with some die hard ObamaCare supporters.
The Obama talking points were uniformly echoed by each; this is
all the republican’s fault. Really?
The talking point is this... we are all one
nation and we are all entitled to a new right; health care. The current
administration has totally screwed up our right to health care, but it is still
our right. The republicans vote for repeal or delay. This
simply interferes with our right. The current administration is incompetent, so they need to dive in and save our
health care system, before it is totally destroyed.
I would like to quote our declaration of independence … “
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all
men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain
inalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of
happiness.”
The situation is pretty simple. Communism; masquerading as Statism has been
indoctrinated into our worst generation and our youth; they have chosen to
naively relinquish their/our right to ‘life’ to the state. Without to right to life (self determination),
how can the right to liberty and the pursuit of happiness follow?
Our worst generation, those whose political leaders brought us the
Vietnam war; and then the protests against the Vietnam Vets and Vietnam Era
Vets; seek to mitigate their own immorality by some how trading our freedom for
another imperfect form of communism (Statism).
Now for the responsibility of the republicans:
ObamaCare is the new law of the land. Is it correct to sit back and watch our children and grandchildren relinquish their right to life? Is it our responsibility to try and protect others from their own immaturity/Statism? Recent reports have shown that the youth of America, particularly the college graduates, are unable to compete with the high school graduates of 50 years ago; or with their peers from around the world(literacy and math). Additionally, their maturity level with respect to forming independent family units, businesses, etc is 10 to 20 years behind the achievement of their peers from the greatest generation. They seem perfectly happy to live in their parent’s basements. Their greatest worry is if their government handouts will continue; who will pay for their college loans? Part of the solution may be to raise the voting age to 25, commensurate with longer lifespans... but that is another topic(agism).

Clearly, we have to stop them from ending the world’s great
experiment in freedom. It is necessary
to protect their children and grandchildren from them.
So, the republicans need to strike a grand bargain. If necessary; shut the government down until
the bargain is reached.
Accept health care as an
inalienable right; as the
young Statists and the worst generation demand; but save their grandchildren’s right
to life; liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
Modify ObamaCare as follows:
1)
Eliminate
the individual and corporate mandates.
2)
Require
the government to make Medicaid available for sale to everyone
3)
Add a
2 % Federal Sales Tax to subsidize Medicaid and make it a viable no frills
insurance product
4)
Require
states to provide community clinics to provide walk in wellness services for
each community
5)
Add a
1 % sales tax to provide block grants to each state to support the wellness
clinics
6)
Tort
reform for wellness clinics
After these changes:
1) There will be no need for government health care exchanges.
2) There will be no fines or penalties.
3) We won't need our own patient navigator or a personal IRS agent
4) The government can begin the process of transitioning out of the cost of business.
5) Everyone who wants healthcare; will have access.
6) Private insurance costs/services will become more affordable.
7) We won't spend 2,000,000,000 dollars on a lame web site (really?);
8) We won't be managed by an arrogant Statist who says she owes no allegiance to the American people (really?.really?).
After these changes:
